Intelligent machines such as robots are widely applied to take the place of human beings. Please, discuss the advantages and disadvantages.
The efficiency of the workplace improves amazingly with the help of intelligence machines. Robots, known as steel-collar workers, are widely employed in different fields such as marine research, space exploration, and some modern assembly lines. Robots undoubtedly bring about advantages though they are not as versatile as expected. The advantages of robots are innumerable. The employment of robots on assembly lines saves labor forces. Also, they work accurately and tirelessly. That is the reason why they are used popularly in automobile and electronic production line. Another merit is that robots can take the place of human beings and work in dangerous environments that are not accessible to us. Human beings have extended their cognition to the outer space where there are unpredictable dangers. Robots can work in any kind of situation, no matter how awful the environment is. In the hospital, robots work as professional doctors doing the operation on the patients. Furthermore, robots can work around the clock, never knowing what tiredness is. However, the disadvantages of robots are undeniable. Firstly, all the robots and other intelligent machines are designed by human beings. What robots do is to follow the instructions and pre-set programming by human beings. If there is something wrong with the electric circuit or programs, robots will become good-for-nothing machines. Besides, robots cannot work creatively when confronted with the complicated situation. In short, robots are subsidiary to human beings. However competent they are in various kinds of field; robots will never take the place of human beings and will not play a decisive role in our work and life.

Some people prefer to watch serious movies while others say entertainment is the main purpose of a movie. In your opinion what factors contribute to a good movie? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
The movie is one of the most powerful media in human history has ever witnessed. The impact this moving picture has on the lives of people is profound. This audio-visual media is the best way of narrating a story as it can portray the real flow of events. There are a large number of factors which are essential for a good movie. The very first element is a good and appealing theme or story. But it is a difficult task as the likes of people change from age to age, and also according to the geographical area. For example, children living in an advanced society may find films about aliens and the extraterrestrial appealing. However, children from a rural area might find peasant themes more interesting. Thus, the success of a film needs to select a theme taking into consideration the nature of the target audience. Yet another vital thing is the way these films are picturized. As it is a visual media, each scene has a powerful influence on the audience. A cinema is a sequence of different scenes arranged in a particular manner. The same film can be presented in a slow and boring way or dramatically and interestingly. It is an accepted fact that most people prefer to watch fast ones. The next element is acting. If actors are not selected according to the nature of the characters, they might not be able to satisfy the expectations of the spectators. To illustrate, it will be a ridiculous idea to convert a healthy and young actor into an old and weak person through make-up. In total, it is evident that a good film is the combination of many different factors out of which the most important thing is proper understanding of the expectations of people.
Question 3

Children who are brought up in families that do not have a lot of money are better prepared to deal with problems when they become adults than children who are brought up by wealthy parents. Children brought up in families with less money are better prepared. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
These days, there is a considerable improvement in people’s concern about child education. Also, people have realized the influence of family environment on the nature of children. Some people now feel that a child who has grown up in a poor family tends to be better prepared to deal with problems. However, in my opinion, family financial status alone does not much influence a child’s ability to solve problems. A child who is born in a poor family will have more situations where they have to solve a problem or make a decision on their own. This is because in most unfortunate families, both parents are usually working and children are put into situations where they have to take care of themselves. However, rich children to have chances to learn to deal with problems. To illustrate, due to their wealth, rich children can experience and learn things that unfortunate children cannot. For example, they usually go to the best schools and receive higher education there, which prepares them for solving problems in their life. Admittedly, few would disagree with the fact that each individual is different. That is, problem-solving skills come from both life experience and personality. The more experience people have in life, the more they can use these experiences to adjust, to adapt and to solve problems they encounter. Personality also can be a factor in dealing with problems. A person who is optimistic, outgoing, confident and open-minded can look at and solve problems more effectively. As Discussed above, nature and nurture have an equal influence on a child’s ability to face challenges. Parents should spare no effort to figure out how they can help their children to be independent.
