PTE Describe Image Real Repeated Questions – Update 2

This week’s first update contains 25 new describe image questions reported from very recent PTE exams. Our teachers have verified all questions and added perfect score sample responses to them. Practice these images under time constraints to get the maximum benefit. Recorded responses will be added in a few days.

The graphs compare the population distribution of Africans between males and females in different age groups for the year 2010 and 2050. The total population of females will almost double to around a million, males will also increase significantly to almost a million from half a million in 2010.The younger population will decrease for both genders and the largest increase will be seen in age groups over 40s and 50s. It can be concluded that the African population will be much older on an average in 2050 compared to 2010.
The image describes the distribution of the world’s water supply. Out of all the water available on the planet only 3 percent is fresh water and out of that only 0.1 percent is available to us. Out of the entire usable water 97% comes from the oceans, while glaciers hold 2 percent and river, lakes and groundwater makes up for only a percent. Therefore, it can be concluded that we need to conserve the water as only a very percent is available to us for our survival.
The diagram compares the organization of inner planets with the structure of an atom. In the planetary structure sun is at the center, while planets such as Mars, Earth, Venus and Mercury are around it at a fixed distance. This is very similar to how an atom is organized. The nucleus is at the center where it holds protons and neutrons. Electrons are situated around the nucleus just as planets are around the sun. It can be concluded that there is wide similarly in the organization of planets and atoms.
The bar graphs compare the volumes of different types of wood used in fuel from years 2002 to 2014. In general the total volume has decreased from around 23 million cubic metres in 2002 to about 13 million cubic metres in 2014. In all these years sawmill has had the biggest share, while biomass cogeneration has made on a small part starting from 2007. But it has been increasing gradually. Pulp and composite have made other major chunks. It can be concluded that in the coming years biomass cogeneration will continue to increase.
The picture gives us ten useful and effective ways of achieving weight loss. The most important tips are drinking more water, exercising daily and eating fruits and vegetables. Some good habits such as not eating when watching tv, keeping a food diary and eating only when hungry also lead to weight loss. Other suggestions include avoiding sods, getting enough sleep every night and gaining muscle mass. In conclusion, a wholistic approach leads to good weight loss.
